Registered Nurse Licensure Assistance
One of the key elements to being a successful healthcare traveler is to ensure that your licenses and certifications are kept current. When you are licensed to work in one or more states, you can start applying for assignments in those states as soon as you have completed your application.
HCS Travelers has made it easy for you to obtain the contact information you need from the State Boards of Nursing in order to verify or endorse your licenses. Click here for contact information for the State Boards of Nursing.
HCS Travelers will also help defray the cost with our nursing license reimbursement program. HCS will reimburse up to $100 per license if you accept and start a travel assignment in a new state. This includes application for licensure in any Nurse Compact State.

Allied Health Professional Licensure Assistance
HCS Travelers can assist the allied health professional that accepts a travel assignment with the documentation and verification process in applying for a license. HCS Travelers credentialing experts can help you collect and verify that all required documents are accurate and complete.
Many of the State Medical Boards have an application process that can take up to six or more months to complete. Applying for licensure in another state can be a difficult and lengthy process.
Medical License requirements typically include:
Prime Source Verifications – The vast majority of state boards ask for verification of licenses held in other states, medical education, hospital privileges, board certifications and medical malpractice insurance coverage. State medical boards often require third parties to complete these verification forms and then return the documents. Our licensure professionals will do all of the research and follow up for you, making sure all verifications are processed expediently.
Malpractice Documentation – State medical boards have an obligation to check on malpractice actions.
Reporting Information – A number of agencies collect and compile information about providers in allied health professions. Most state medical boards require at least one of these reports in addition to the completed application.
