+ Compensation

Our healthcare professionals can expect to receive highly competitive base pay rates. You may earn more due to shift differentials, overtime and other bonuses. We conform to all Wage and Hour guidelines including overtime and time and a half for Holiday shifts. Pay rates vary for each assignment depending on the facility, your specialty and the location. While on assignment you will be paid directly by the payroll department at HealthCare Staffing.

We also offer flexible pay options that allow you to choose the compensation and benefits package that is right for you. Whether you want the highest hourly rate of pay or a competitive pay rate with benefits and housing – you choose. HCS is committed to finding a compensation package that meets your needs.

+ Weekly Pay

HCS pays all of our contracted professionals weekly, and our payroll department makes sure that our employees are paid the correct amount on time.

+ Direct Deposit

Our employees receive weekly paychecks and enjoy the security and convenience of automatic direct deposits through our payroll partner, ADP. On the same day your pay is electronically deposited into your personal bank account, you can view your pay stub online!

Alternate payment methods may also be established with HCS, if required.

Free, one bedroom private quality housing or a generous housing stipend: For qualified HCS Travelers, HCS offers travel professionals free one bedroom private quality housing, close to your assignment facility. Whether it is an executive apartment or an apartment or home in a great neighborhood, we research the housing options to find you safe neighborhoods. We focus on areas that will allow you to enjoy your free time, taking in the sights and sounds of your new location. You’ll be able to enjoy this benefit on any company-paid position across the United States. We ensure your accommodations are fully furnished and include a variety of useful amenities. If you provide your own accommodations, we'll provide you with a generous housing stipend. Your recruiter will provide you with more information about our company-paid housing.

If you are traveling with your family or a four legged member of the family, HCS Travelers welcomes you to try our family and pet friendly housing options. We will work with you to make sure all the members of your household are well taken care of!

+ Tax-free travel reimbursement

HCS Travelers offers up to a $200 travel allowance to help you defray expenses when traveling to your new assignment. Travel expenses will be reimbursed in your first paycheck.

+ Tax Advantage Plan

If you accept a travel assignment with HCS Travelers and meet eligibility criteria, you may qualify to receive a portion of your compensation package tax free. Contact us for more information. HCS is careful to follow the appropriate IRS regulations regarding reimbursement of travel, housing, and other reimbursable expenses. It is the responsibility of the HCS Traveler to follow IRS and state tax regulations and to file their individual tax returns.

Our personalized service means that we want to stay connected to you. Our customer support team is available to you 24/7, 365 days a year, with live telephone and email support. If you have a question or problem while on assignment, contact us. We are at your service!

+ Malpractice/Professional Liability Insurance

We offer comprehensive professional liability insurance to all our healthcare professionals, completely free of charge. This provides you with coverage from the first day you begin an assignment with HCS and HCS Travelers.

+ Workers Compensation

HCS provides full Worker’s Compensation coverage to all our healthcare professionals from the first day you begin an assignment with HCS and HCS Travelers.

+ Licensure Assistance

HCS assists you with obtaining licensure in each state that you work an assignment in for HCS Travelers. Our credentialing professionals can assist with the application process and HCS will reimburse your licensure expense up to $100.

+ Insurance Benefits

All full time healthcare providers are eligible to receive full health and dental insurance benefits for the duration of their assignments. We also offer health insurance solutions for your family at a discounted rate.

+ Medical Plan

HCS offers medical coverage through BCBS including employee only coverage, employee and spouse, employee and children, and family plans. You choose the one that works for you. Our medical plan minimizes out of pocket expenses and meets a wide range of healthcare needs. You are eligible for coverage on the first of the month after 30 days of employment. Or you can choose to receive a fixed benefit payment each month instead of insurance coverage.

+ Dental Insurance

Our dental plan under Assurant Employee Plans pays 100 percent of your dental premiums and covers diagnostic and preventative procedures at 50 percent.

+ Bonus and Incentive Programs

We tailor our bonus and incentive programs to the individual preferences of our healthcare providers. With a number of different options available, any HCS employee can take advantage of this liberal plan.

+ Sign-On Bonus

If you are new to HCS or HCS Travelers, you may be eligible for a sign-on bonus for joining our great team of healthcare professionals. Check with your recruiter to learn more about sign on bonus program.

+ Preferred Provider Bonus

The preferred provider bonus plan is a renewal bonus paid for renewal of a 13 week assignment or acceptance of another 13 week assignment with HCS Travelers within 14 days of your last assignment with us. The bonus is paid after the first week in the assignment. Earn as many as three preferred provider bonuses per year with HCS Travelers!

+ Referral Program

One of our best referral sources is you! Help us build the HCS and HCS Travelers team of healthcare professionals by simply referring your family, friends and colleagues who share your dedication to patients and the facilities that serve them. For each person you refer that accepts an assignment HCS or HCS Travelers, we will pay you a referral bonus based on the position. There is no limit to the number of referrals you can make. + Completion Bonus

For selected assignments, HCS and HCS Travelers offers completion bonuses at the conclusion of the assignment. Please check with your recruiter to see if your assignment is eligible for a completion bonus.

+ Facility Referral Bonus

If you know of an assignment at a facility that we do not currently offer, let us know. If your lead turns into a new working relationship and we place you or another HCS provider at that facility, you will receive a facility referral bonus! There is no limit to the number of facility referrals you make to HCS.
